Complexes: Ours and Others. Using Your Sensitivity to Tame the Psyche's Wild Beasts with Dr. Elaine Aron
We all have complexes. Jung called them the building blocks of the personality. However, complexes also cause most human problems. Complexes form around a trauma with an archetype at its core, the whole structure acting like a black hole sucking every experience into it. Once one is triggered, it forces people into bewildering behaviors, acting out scripts from the past having little to do with the present. We’ll talk about the complexes we and others have about sensitivity, why our complexes are easily triggered, and what do to when we find ourselves or someone else caught up in one. By using our sensitivity wisely, we can become skilled at steering through these stormy seas to safe harbor.
Hope to see some of you there!
Fondly,
Jacquelyn
