Greetings from a somewhat dreary day here in Northern Colorado,
I was feeling a bit dreary myself today until my first venture into the world of video production with Ane Axford, my co-host for the 21st HSP Gathering Retreat. We laughed so hard as we tried to figure out why, oh why, my image was not showing up as planned on the video we were making about the next HSP Gathering Retreat.
Oh well....we decided to just go with it.... and here is the result: Ane Axford & Jacquelyn Strickland ~ HSP Gathering Retreats ! It's about 11 minutes long.

Obviously, I have much to learn about image and voice quality. I was prompted to look up Cat as an Animal Totem and this is what I found out:
Littlest lion, panther in miniature,
Help me in a my magical endeavors,
Teach me to see my path through dark places,
Help me to sift the necessary from the unnecessary
And to relax and enjoy life.
Strengthen my magic and carry it to its destination
I thought this seemed to support me in my visions of the HSP Gathering Retreats.
Finally, as promised in my last note to you, here is what Ane Axford will be presented in May:
Ane Axford, LMFT
Beyond Thriving: Sensitive Leadership
Being highly sensitive can sometimes feel like a curse. I find time and again that it's only when we are trying to fit ourselves into a prescribed role that it becomes a curse, and causes us anxiety and stress.
I believe our sensitivity makes us natural leaders. As Priestly Advisors, we are visionary sensitive giants who can see for miles around and that view is incredibly VALUABLE. It is wanted. It hurts to try and fit somewhere when you are a giant.
You are naturally strong, and your sensitivity makes you incredibly capable to handle whatever situation you are in. And, when you are free to be all that you are, then you can really utilize the gifts that I believe all HSPs are here to share. In this presentation, you will learn about, and experience, how you can move from surviving to thriving and realize that you are already a leader. You life can feel much easier when you experience yourself as the gifted leader that you are.
There is now a one-day ~ Sunday only, May 29th, option for attending. Please go here to download a Registration Form: http://www.lifeworkshelp.com
My next post will feature what I will be presenting in May.
Until then, wishing you much HSP care and joy,
Jacquelyn
