Dear HSPs,
February Greetings from Colorado
We are anxiously awaiting Spring here in Colorado. Although we have had a few warm days to entice us into believing Spring may be around the corner, past experience tells us to put our expectations on hold a bit longer. I'm trying, but admit it is difficult.
This Winter 2008 February Issue of HSP Highlights & Insights is the first one since March of 2007 ! In this issue, linked here: http://lifeworkshelp.com/newsletter/2008w/
you will find:
I.
A Buddhist Maitri Meditation - unlike other meditations where we are encouraged to clear our minds of all thought, this meditation does the opposite by encouraging us to embrace all that is within our experience with compassion. If you try it, I would love to hear about your experience.
II.
Top Ten Ways for HSP Self Care
Top Ten Reasons to Have a HSP Dyad Partner
III.
An invitation to a special one hour teleclass where we will discuss the Top Ten Ways for HSP Self Care, and also the Top Ten Reasons to Have a HSP Dyad Partnership. On the call will be my HSP Dyad Partner, Molly Sheahan from Ft. Collins, and also Sam New-Fielding, my co-host for the Spring 2009 HSP Gathering in England. Please consider joining us.
IV.
Pictures and Comments from the June 2007 Walker Creek Ranch HSP Gathering, and Pictures and Comments from the October 2007 Colorado HSP Gathering.
V.
From What's On My Night Stand-
A Book Review of The Future of Love, by Daphne Rose Kingma
(We may be discussing this book as part of HSPs & Relationships at the June 08 HSP Gathering - watch for details.)
As always, I welcome your comments and questions. And I hope to see some of you on the teleclass or at the next HSP Gathering on the West Coast, June 19-23, 2008. This will be the 15th ( ! ) HSP Gathering since 2001. See www.walkercreekranch.org
And mark your calendars for the next East Coast HSP Gathering Oct 2-6, 2008 at Menla Mountain Retreat Center in Phoenicia, NY. See www.menla.org
With love and spring HSP wishes,
