Today's Picture to Ponder Photos
More reflections in the second story windows of a building in Miami. (See Last Issue , if you missed it)
It's the top photo that I really love for the beige tones and the dance and flow of the lines, contrasted with the mysterious, vertical, three-element, gray piece. Based on the clues of the grating and a couple of other parts, the latter would seem to be a reflection of the traffic light closer to the building seen in the lower photo.
Self-Reflecting Queries
When I continue to study the top picture to determine if it is, in fact, the traffic lights, I find it interesting to note that the three small gray, horizontal components in the reflection are a totally different shape. I'm then moved to find a further explanation in order to justify my interpretation.
As you read this I wonder if you can begin to match my thought process here to situations in your own life. Is there something that you are working on which you are trying to "figure out," "explain," "justify?"
If so, what might be available for you if you stepped back and simply were with it for what it is. It might be beautiful in and of itself. Why not simply appreciate it!
On the other hand, as I think about some current situations in my own life, I realize a troublesome situation might be the one coming up for you, one where you are doing a lot of searching and justifying. What might become available for you, now, were you able to accept it for what it is?
Be sure to look, as you are pondering, for where you can bring in play.
