Today's Picture to Ponder Photo
the underside of a red-orange hibiscus, which caught my eye as I was passing it in my side yard a few weeks ago, and again when I was "flipping through" photos on my monitor.
There is something in the dominance of that view of the flower. It's almost as if it's taking a stand for itself.
I've included the front view for those who like to see all sides. I reduced the size so as not to take away from the first.

Self-Reflecting Queries
When you are firm and sure of yourself, how do you stand? What is your body posture?
I invite you to take a few different positions, illustrating different emotions such as "sad", "happy", "confident", "fearful".... Play with them. If you are in a posture that feels disempowering, switch to a powerful one.
Experiment. The next time you are feeling an emotion that you would like to shift, think back to this exercise. Perhaps you can effect a "state change" simply by changing the way you are sitting or standing.
As always, have fun with it
