***Pictures to Ponder: Inspired Journaling***
"I bought your eBook earlier today and not only is it well written, the pictures you chose are lovely. The reason I waited so long to purchase was because I'm trying to curb my addiction to books and the clutter they are causing.
This morning I read the 10 page preview [link under photo on each of the description pages], and since you were offering it in a eBook format, I just had to indulge one more time. I know this will be a very successful for you. Congratulations!" Eva Macie, Artist

Today's Picture to Ponder Photo
sideview of Magazines in a rack
Recently lighting on the tight curves and patterns of this view of the forgotten magazines in a rack in our living room caught my attention. Of course, I went for my camera. Once I viewed the downloaded photos I found that I particularly loved the drama here, in the patterns, the darks and the lights in the magazine imagery, as well as the shadows on the floor.
For the writers among you I see plenty of material here. There are the "eyes" for those who enjoy finding them in my photos and there certainly could be plenty of speculation on the words that are within the pages. Then there are those misty ones receiving the strongest light.
Self-Reflecting Queries
As most of you are aware, this photo is definitely a switch from those of nature usually featured in Picture to Ponder. Part of my reason for including it is to demonstrate the fact that far more than one area of interest can be eye-catching, attention-grabbing.
As those of you who have been subscribing for a while also know, one of our underlying themes revolves around opening our eyes to discovering new things in our worlds both visually and interpersonally.
Jumping off from today's "decor" photo, what can you find in your environment that you have never noticed before? Or, is there something you've been taking for granted to which you can now bring a new view?
Lastly, I implied above that these magazines
have simply been sitting in the rack for an undetermined amount of time. I could go check on the dates, and that is not the point. I mention it here because it's reminding me of something else I've kept meaning to share and have put aside because there were other things to do.
Celebration
Today's issue is actually the 305TH ISSUE of Picture to Ponder!! December will mark the end of our second year. I recall definitely celebrating the 100th issue and thought I had for 200, though I just checked to see and found I did not point that out either. So today, I declare a celebration of both Issues 200 and 300 and all that came before, between and after. I thank you all for being a part of that.
Is there something in your life you've been meaning to celebrate? Something which might not even have occurred to you? If there is nothing immediately present, I invite and encourage you to look for it. The celebration may simply be sharing it with someone else. Most importantly don't forget to pat yourself on the back for what you accomplished!
Then hold and luxuriate in all of our congratualtions to you on what you are choosing to celebrate!
