TODAY'S PHOTO -
Passion flower, one of the many different varieties in the very large collection of these flowering vines in Butterfly World, Coconut Creek, FL
In searching for today's photo this particular one kept popping out at me. In part
I think it's the brightness and contrast, as well as the burgundy color of the flowers.
I expect that many of you will also find it quite cheerful. In addition, for those of you who like finding faces in Picture to Ponder images, I'm enjoying the face I see in the center. Do you see it also?
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
In this morning's session of the Photo/Creativity class, amongst the activities, we explored and discussed the "faces" that can be found in the photos on the FACES page of eTeletours - http://www.eteletours.com/photopage1.html We then continued on, examining with a "viewfinder" the photos on Photo Page 2. Last night I added a horizontal version of #4 on the latter page, so participants could experience the differences when our perspective, or point of view, changes. See http://www.eteletours.com/photopage2.html
I was amazed at the whole new interpretation that opened up today while looking at the new view. I'm still in awe of the interpretations and analogies that came out of the conversation. Since Wednesday night's participants have yet to have the discussion, I will not say anything more now. If readers indicate interest, I'll share on Friday the thoughts put forth, as well as tell you the actual subject of the photograph.
And, if your interest is piqued and you'd like to participate live in similar conversations among creative people, there is still time to join the Wednesday night group. See PHOTO/CREATIVITY.
Marion Froese, whose testimonial you can read on the course description page, has chosen to join us again. She wrote, after today's session, "I loved the class! You have again connected a wonderful bunch of women.
I already know the Wednesday night group is a great one too! Men are certainly welcome also.
Now back into your world - Is there anything that is happening where you might have the possibility of whole new openings by switching your perspective? by "turning" something 90 degrees?
Lastly, As I write I am feeling my passion and excitement as I recall the experiences when interacting with participants today. I feel my face almost, flushed and
lit up as I share. When you are excited with something, where do you feel it? What are the signs of enthusiasm for you?
