TODAY'S
PHOTO - a Wood Stork and Ibises at sunset in Wakodahatchee Wetlands
I was enthralled by the single Wood Stork, posturing among the Ibises late yesterday afternoon and took many photos attempting to get a clear photo with his feathers splayed around his neck. I will feature one next week.
I selected today's photo because of Sam's immediate response when he saw it on the monitor - "A Modern Dance," announced he. A very slow and reflective one, I think. And, I dance, as I consider the accomplishment of 205 issues of Picture to Ponder during the past year!
(A quick note on the technical aspect, for those following my occasional comments on this. I experimented with lightening and some other "fixing" tools and I decided to stay with the mood of this one, with minimal altering.)
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
As the birds, especially the Wood Stork, are poised in seemingly reflective posturing it brings to mind my own pattern. In my hurry, scurry I rarely pause for the still, quiet reflective times. "What might be available for me if I did stop more?" I think and write.
How about you? How often, if at all, do you take/make/create those moments? If you do, what's been possible out of your experiences? If not, I invite you to inquire into what might be available for you and to then take it on sometime this weekend.
Have a great one.
COURSE AND TELECLASSES-
My friend, Julie Jordan Scott, is offering her own holiday promo. Register for one course and get a second one FREE for yourself or a friend. See 5Passions. You could even take a course with a friend and share the fee, with one of you paying for it of course.
Those of you who have been subscribing for some time know how highly I regard whatever Julie offers. I attribute a lot of where I am today to working with Julie, including PICTURE TO PONDER! PTP was started in her ezines course and Julie was the one who suggested the title, which fit so well I thought. Again check out 5Passions.
