TODAY'S
PHOTO -
Wakodahatchee Wetlands mini, one-tree island
A busy day ended with a late afternoon walk. Once again a feeling of peace and tranquility in Wakodahatchee. I thought I'd share this photo with you for the weekend or anytime you want a respite.
For those of you who might want to immerse yourself in the scene for a while, I've also uploaded the photo in a larger size .
I think that, in part, it may be the repetition of the curves in the front patch of green, the Moorhen (bird) and the branches that is creating the harmony that I feel.
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
For fun, you might take some time in the next few days to explore your overall feeling in areas or places that have a lot of round shapes and curves as contrasted with environments that are quite geometric with obvious strong straight vertical and horizontal lines.
I suspect that you're probably surrounded with linear spaces. It may be a challenge to create more rounded areas. I invite you to look around, inside and out to see what you can create.
If you take this on, note if you experience any differences.
CALENDARS -
The Floral Wall Calendar is complete! See Calendars The flowers were selected from those published the past year in PICTURE TO PONDER. A Sunrise/Sunset Calendar is still being worked on.
Special thanks to Morgine Jurdan, Communications with Love, who helped me with the photo elimination/selections. She also found the lead quote by Friedrich Nietzsche. "The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude."
Speaking of "Gratitude," if you haven't been there yet I recommend you check out Stacey Robyn's Free Gratitude Experiment. See MASTER KEY. (back to top) If you do not have FLASH on your computer simply go to GO GRATITUDE.
