TODAY'S PHOTO -
photo drawing of a red cabbage from Robert Cohen's garden (See ROBERT'S GARDEN)
Several months ago, my friend Stacey Robyn
created a unique and multi-dimensional Symbol for Gratitude which she illustrates and explains on the just launched MASTER KEYsite. At the end of a beautiful and intriguing dramatic visual presentation, she states that we will start seeing the symbol everywhere.
After viewing the demo, I have begun to see, and look for, this Gratitude symbol in many of my photos, especially those of flowers. For some reason though, this cabbage popped into my mind. It's thus the one I share with you today. I see intrigue, humor and love in it. It's also welcoming you (whatever country you are in) to a Thanksgiving Day of abundance and joy.
Having become immersed in Gratitude,
Stacey has just introduced an experiment in practicing gratitude, gifting its possibilities. She is looking for one million people to participate in creating a global wake of gratitude. She has extended this Gift of Gratitude to us and invited us all to pass it on.
As another friend stated, this is "an innovative, life enhancing project, with nothing to buy and much to gain, if it appeals to you." See for yourself at gogratitude.com/masterkey (Note - If the screen seems blank, be sure to use the sidebar to scroll down the page)
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
I'm sure many of you have been receiving thoughts and expressions of gratitude in many of the publications to which you may subscribe or places where you go.
Have you
stopped to reflect for yourself on the people and things in your life for which you are most appreciative? Have you shared these feelings with those people?
A few years ago we started the practice at Thanksgiving of going around the table, with people each sharing that for which they were most grateful. It was especially fun to hear the young people speak of a favorite movie or time that they remembered. I'm smiling as I recall one great nephew's struggle/embarassment initially and then what he came up with.
Gratitude does not necessarily have to be heavy and
significant. What can you recall being grateful for that will bring a smile to your face now, a twinkle in your eye?
I might or might not be back tomorrow, the day before Thanksgiving. We are luxuriating in the fun of being with our grandsons and their parents who are here from Georgia. For this we are very grateful.
Love and peace to all, whatever country you are in whatever day that you would like to create for celebration.
