TODAY'S
PHOTO -
yesterday's swan viewed from the front.
Based on the response I received to yesterday's swan photo, I thought some of you might enjoy this frontal view. I was quite intrigued by the curved position that the wings take here.
I am often fascinated with some of the curved and almost contorted-looking neck postures assumed by some of the birds I've seen on our walks, especially that of the anghingas. This was the first time I've seen a bird's wings in a position similar to this swan's.
I love the all-encompassing feeling given off by the swan's look, the complimentary movement in the rippling in the water, and the overall excitement of discovery.
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
The following thoughts developed as I looked at the photo once more to come up with a query or two -
"Is there anyone who would love a hug from you today? Will you give it? Or is there someone you would like to hug and will you do it?
Is there someone from whom YOU would like a hug? If so, can you ask for it and will you?
If anyone who came to mind is nowhere near your physical space, can you create virtual hugs? Is there an underlying message that you would like to give to or receive in addition to hugs?"
If "yes" to any of these questions, I invite you to take action.
