TODAY'S
PHOTO -
a swan in an artificial body of water in a office/restaurant complex
I saw group of swans, as we were walking the other evening, and, of course, I immediately went back to the car for my camera.
Out of about 50 shots, I chose this photo to share with you for two reasons:
1. A large portion of the photos I include in PICTURE TO PONDER are specific to our area of Southeast Florida. When I saw the swans, I thought it would be interesting to share a more universal image. I am assuming that most of you are familiar with swans.
2. I love the grace and overall feel of this swan, the curve of his wings, and the movement in the water.
SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
I'm queried out today. I've spent the last week on plenty of queries dealing with my computer challenges, subsequently looking at new computers, making purchasing decisions, and now querying new programs and equipment compatible with the new operating system.
We are most fortunate that the programs I use to create PICTURE TO PONDER are available for 30 day trials, so I did not have to wait for delivery. On the other hand there are all kinds of new attributes and different ways of using what had been familiar procedures. I am therefore "querying" up a storm.
Getting today's issues out presented even more unexpected challenges and I'm delighted I've finally gotten beyond them.
When you take on new things do you jump in, work from your gut and then look at the manual, or instructions, or do you proceed in an orderly manner, from the instructions in the first place?
