TODAY'S
PHOTO -
a photo drawing of legs and shoes
of 5 Brownie Girl Scouts
Given that the past two Picture of Ponder issues featured hats
- Issues
177 and 178,
"shoes" as a next subject flashed through my mind. Not
having any shoes that have visually caught my attention recently,
I thought about this photo that I took a few years ago.
In the absence of the photo itself, I
offer you the photo/drawing** that I did at the time. I liked
the fun of it then and I still smile as I look at the picture.
While reflecting, I am also reminded of a drawing I did many
years ago, when women sat under big dryers in their beauty salons.
I sat under mine, one day, and drew the dryers and the feet
and legs.
As I continue writing, I also remember that there are a few
sets of photos I did, not long ago, of legs and shod feet of
photographers as they were poised for taking photos at Wakodahatchee
Wetlands. I recall being attracted by the angle of one person's
foot, an expression of anticipation, I thought.
I invite you, for the fun of it, to look at legs, below the
knees, shoes and feet in the next day or two.
**Those of you who are new subscribers and are not familiar
with my unique photo/drawing style, can see it on NATURE'S

SELF-REFLECTING QUERIES -
What comes up for you as you look at legs, feet and shoes? Do
you make decisions about the person based on the condition of
the shoes? the types of shoes? the position of their feet?
Does what they seem to be doing have an impact on your perceptions?
I have no answers yet for these questions. As soon as I finish,
I'm going to go outside and look at the feet of men doing some
work here.
What I do want to acknowledge, as I finish today, is my own
feet and all that they so powerfully provide for me. They support
the full weight of my body. They take me places, especially
on all the walks I love and share with you. They provide safe
passage in the cars I drive.
In addition, from the little I know about reflexology, the foot
has reflex points which connect to different areas and organs
in the body. Healing to any troubled body part can be generated
through these points. So to my feet and all that they provide
for me, Thank You.
For what can you thank your feet?
READERS' RESPONSES -
Per my mention in Issue 178, Joel Grubman wrote the piece on
his ARMY
HAT . Click on that link to read what he wrote, if you haven't
already. On the same page, now, are HAT
MEMORIES by Zannie Rose in England.
If anyone else has a hat story you'd like to share, I will add
it to the PTP Response pages, if you wish. Email
it, along with a photo if you have, to me with permission to
use your name.
AUDIO TESTIMONIALS -
Have you yet checked out the 28
second message from Sondra who shares the impact on her
life of a custom photo/drawing of her father done by me?
Have you listened to Judith Tramayne-Barth and Renee Kleckner
on our AUDIO
LINKS page, where Judith also describes how easy it is to
record a message? I'd love to have your voice there also. A
sentence or two is more than enough, if you are person of a
few words.
I will publish the link for yours in Picture to Ponder and on
the testimonial
page on the eteletours site. You can call in yourself at
(214) 231-2905 ext 6956 or, if you wish,
