TODAY'S PHOTO -
clouds framed by a window.
Puffy clouds continue to abound here in South Florida, in between
the gray ones of the thunder showers and storms, common here during
the summer months, particularly in late afternoon.
Yesterday, I happened to glance up over our front door and was
pulled by the view. I went for my camera and, once again, appreciated
the contrasts of the white wall, now black, when the resulting
photos were viewed.
I liked the drama of the starkness, contrasted with the softness,
and wanted to share it with you. I also thought this is a good
example, perhaps a reminder, of what's possible when we look through
a frame and a window.
SELF-REFLECTING QUERY -
Today's photo is comprised of several layers. There is the inside
wall, the window with its frame, the orange of the outside stucco
covering over the threshhold of our home, the silhouetted tree
tops across the street, the clouds and the sky.
Now consider, are there windows you might be look through this
week, real or figurative, for a different view of something in
your life? If you're seeing something new, you might check to
see if it, too, is comprised of many layers.
