TODAY'S PHOTO -
Once again cropped, yesterday's photo of an orchid at the
American Orchid Society.
I couldn't resist sharing with you one more look at yesterday's
orchid. This time I cropped right into the center of the
flower in the foreground.
Do you too see the leader of a marching band? He's shown from
his waist up, arms in the air. Note the TALL hat with a full
long brim that's casting maroon shadows on his yellow face.
3 buttons adorn the yellow shirt, exposed slightly above his
magenta vest.
The point today is "Have Fun!" Along with this,
find some things, visual or otherwise, where you can look
more closly and come up with a whole new perspective on what
you've been "seeing."
READER COMMENTS ON THE LAST ISSUE - Issue
90
"Funny that Sam mentioned 5th Avenue. I just watched
"Easter Parade" last night. The final scene certainly
depicts being lost in a "crowd of joy." There are
times when it's soothing to be part of the multitude. Certainly
these flowers work either way (en masse or individually).
Though I swear they look like they have mouths. Snappy little
mouths, at that." Mary Gray
"I love the colors of the orchids!! They are so majestic."
Andee Losben
"Just arrived back from Hawaii yesterday where we
saw orchids in the wild all over the place and visited orchid
growers and gardens. I do not see this picture as "lost
in a crowd", but more like more and more and endless
more of incredibly beautiful flowers. Each one individually
is so perfect and lovely, but in masses, even more perfect
and lovely. I would call it something like 'masses and masses
of nature's beauty and perfection'." Toby Blender
