LAST ISSUE'S IMAGE (ISSUE
#10) -
was a photo/drawing, a manually-enhanced photo, of stained
ceiling tiles.
Dellie Rosen, a faithful reader who daily shares the different
images she's seeing, wrote that while lying on an exam table
in her doctor's office the other day, she was staring at
the ceiling when a yucky brown, water-stained tile loomed
into view. She stated that after a week of staring at my
"enzymes," she automatically started to look for
images.
As I read this, I instantly remembered the photograph and
drawing I had done of ceiling tiles a couple of years ago.
Looking up while in a class, I began to notice stained tiles
right above my head. Thrilled that I had my camera, I grabbed
it and took a few shots.
Check out the original
ceiling tile photo if you'd like to compare.
THE IMAGERY -
Again for me, I was simply observing and appreciating textures
and patterns. Reports from the field yesterday did include,
"I saw 1/4 of a blueberry pie. To the right of it,
someone had eaten out a big chunk." and
"This reminds me, simultaneously, of a slide prepared
for a microscope and stained glass. Plus there's that
Mondrianesque division off the center of it."
TODAY'S PHOTO -
Enjoy.
