Greetings everyone,
It's Labor Day here in the U.S. I am packing for my trip tomorrow (Sept 8) to my beloved San Francisco for the premier of the documentary: Sensitive: The Untold Story. It will premier on September 10 at 7:30 pm at the Legion of Honor. I am so honored to be able to attend this premiere and celebrate this historic moment in time for and with we HSPs.
I'm sure most of you know you can now live stream this documentary . Here is the latest update directly from Elaine Aron's newsletter .....I'm reprinting it here just to make sure as many people as possible know about this opportunity.
Upon my return, I'll share more about my experience at the premiere as well as updates about the HSP Gathering Retreats, including a report and pictures from the 30th one held August 8-12 in British Columbia. I will also share about my own "HSP Summer & Beyond Sabbatical." I am loving this much looked forward to time off.
More to come, with love and anticipation,
Jacquelyn
And now .....From Elaine Aron ...........
Dear HSPs,
This is to let you know that the price for the live stream of the premiere will remain $20 USD, without the increase 3 days prior to the showing announced in the last email. There's nothing else new here except that people from 33 different countries have signed up!
Not sure what I am talking about? In the last email I announced that the premiere of Sensitive, the Untold Story on September 10, 7:30 pm, in San Francisco at the Legion of Honor Theater, is sold out. But, it will be live streamed during the showing and available to view for 48 hours after, to accommodate time zones. (But the movie is only in English.)
Go to the movie website ~~ http://sensitivethemovie.cleeng.com/sensitive…/E639074034_US for the easy instructions to purchase your virtual ticket. Besides the movie itself, the live stream will have my husband, as emcee, including his telling a few (nice) jokes about HSPs. You can still contribute a joke.) And a Q & A after the showing with the director, producer, and me.
Why the price change? It looks like we will cover the cost of the live stream, and we truly want as many to see it as possible, while still covering our other costs. In particular~~ do not want it to become too expensive for people or countries where even $20 is a lot. And we hope that if you like the film, you can encourage others to view it within the 48 hours, and they may not want to spend more than $20. (Or of course you can invite others to watch it with you, as you can repeat the live stream as often as you want within the 48 hours.)
You can see it on your computer monitor, or connect your computer to your TV screen. The live stream will not be good enough quality for a movie screen.
As I explained in the last email, any profits will go to the Foundation for the Study of Highly Sensitive People and the making of more movies like this one, but expand specific topics (HSPs in relationships, at work, and raising HSCs, HSPs at work, etc.), and the movie may not be available in any other form for a while. So join us and the people from these 33 different countries for a global celebration of our wonderful trait!
With joy that we can now share the movie with you,
Elaine
